Enligt katalogkort: “Chinese rhinoceros ewer. Period: Ch’ing, 18th century. Description: Cylindrical shape, with everted foot-ring. Handle in shape of tongue of t’ao t’ieh mask; spout in shape of dragon. Decoration about neck of four dragons in high relief; around waist of t’ao t’ieh mask on diaper ground. On top of lid jade carving of man seated on fish (later date). Measures: H. 165mm W. 150mm. Purchased: Bequest of H.M. King Gustaf VI Adolf. No 2318. Dossier: TOCS, Vol. 35, pl. 142, No 452. Expo: USA 1966, Stockholm 1967, No 144; BM, London 1972, No 200.”
