Ask med lock av lackerat trä, från Kina. Asken har formen av en Buddhas handcitron.

Enligt katalogkort: “Chinese lacquer box and cover. Period: Late Ming. Description: Small box in brown lacquer, in shape of Buddha’s hand lemon. Decorated with prunus flowers and branches in relief in red and deep olive green colours on diaper pattern ground. Inside gilt. Measures: L. 78mm H. 36mm. Purchased: In London 1957 at Spink’s. £30.0.0. Bequest of H.

M. King Gustaf VI Adolf, No 2198. Dossier: Expo: Sweden 1977-78.”
