"Kyandu", pl.: bi-. Stol för hövng. "Mfumu kyandu" eller "Kyandu kya Mfumu". Består av två delar a och b. a = trädklyka, som försetts med två traverser. I den spalt som traverserna bildar insättes den U-formade delen. b =två runda ben som förenats med en sittbräda. (Spikad med importerade spikar.) Stolen är alltså en "knock-down"-möbel. Lägges samman på bördan på huvudet och tages ofta med på vandringen eller grannby-besöket. Höljes med ett skinn, vars art ger stolen dignitet. I detta fall användes ett leopardskinn (Felis) ty ägaren var byälste och domare. (Vid fällande dom tog domaren skinnet och pliggade fast det på tegelväggen bakom stolen i tribunal-huset.)

Consists of two parts a and b. a = fork of a tree, which has been proided with two transverses. the U-shaped part is put into the column made by the transverses. b = two round legs united by a seat. (Nailed with imported nails) The chari is thus a "knock-down" furniture. Is put together with the loadand taken along the walking or the visit to the neighbouring village. Is covered with a hind, the species gives the chair its dignity. In this case was leopard used (felis), since the owner was the elderly of the village and judge. (The judge took the hind and put it on the brick wall of the tribunal-house behind the chair, when passing a judgement.)
