Det övergripande målet med Näringslivsgruppen är att bidra till att utveckla Göteborg till en av Europas mänskligaste och mest attraktiva storstadsregioner att leva och verka i samt att besöka.
I Näringslivsgruppen ingår ett tjugotal större företag, Göteborgs Stad, Göteborgsregionens Kommunalförbund, Business Region Göteborg, Chalmers tekniska högskola och Göteborgs universitet.
