Enligt Etnografiska museets (Stockholm) personregister (arkivet) var Dade anställd vid "United States Government in the Canal Zone" som Chief of the Civil Defence Section. Såg sig själv som amatörarkeolog men var dock President of the Archaeological Society of Panama samt medlem av Board of Directors and Treasurer of the Society of the Panama National Museum. Uppgifterna från brev 1959-04-16 (Etnografiska museet, Stockholm).
