Beskrivning: Fred (Frederick?) McKim, född 1883, död 1946, författare till "San Blas, an account of the Cuna indians of Panama".
McKim arbetade för kanaladministrationen i Panama. Under början av 1930-talet tillbringade han tid på San Blas och lärde känna Ruben Perez Kantule. Han följde med Henry Wassén till Nargana 1935. (Howe )

Beskrivning: Ruben Pérez Kantule kom 1931 till Göteborg efter att ha bjudits in av Erland Nordenskiöld. Han skulle nedteckna sitt folks, kunaindianernas, historia. Kantule blir fascinerad av Sverige och skriver ned allt han ser i sin dagbok som sedan följer med tillbaka till öriket.
