Object description: Charles Morris Woodford (30 oktober 1852-4 oktober 1927) var en brittisk biolog och statsråd som var verksam på Salomonöarna. Han var den första Resident kommissionären för Salomonöarna protektorat, från 1896 (tre år efter införandet av den brittiska Salomonöarna Protectorate) fram till 1915. Under åren 1885-1886 gjorde han tre resor till Salomonöarna och 1890 gav han ut boken "A Naturalist Among the Head-Hunters".
