Vävnadsfragment, mörkbrunt med blåa ränder.

Enl. fröken Eva Selander, Röhsska Museet, Göteborg.

Part of poncho? Lengthwise woven in two parts, sewn together badly damaged.

Dark brown woolen warp rep, close and even. A border 23 cm. broadlstriped in greenish blu parallel to the warp at the outer selvage.

Remains of starting and finishing-edges with a trimming of brown woolen yarn are preserved.

Warp, firmlyn S-twined.

Weft, more loosely S-twinned.

Tightness of weave:

Warp, 220 threads in 10 cm.

Weft, 50 " " 10 cm

Size 110 x 98 cm.
