Vävnadsfragment, brunt med mörkare ränder. Från en chullpagrav.

Fragment of woolen rep, bordered in lighter and darker brown,

Warp, S-twined soft llama-woole, brown in several shades, enterile covering the weft.

Weft, S-twined llama-wool, brown and buff sometimes twisted together.

Tightness of weave:

Warp, 140 threads in 10 cm.

Weft, 40 threads " 10 cm.

Size: 60 x 32 cm.

A portion of the selvage in one side preserved. A tuft of coarse yellowish woolen yarn is inserted in the midle of the fragment. (katalogkort/originalbeskrivning)
