Vävnadsfragment, röd, blå och grön rand. Från en

chullpagrav.

Fragment of poncho. Woolen warp rep patterned in red, blue and green. The pattern is very simple. Stripes in blue and red change their places at the shoulder.

Warp, S-twined.

Weft, S- " natural brown.

Tightness of weave:

Warp, 160 threads in 10 cm.

Weft, 50 " " 10 " .

Size 57 x 21.5 cm.

One part of the outer green stripe is woven with selvage and has been trimmed with red woolen yarn. This is probably the opening för the head. On the other part, threads from weft hang free. (katalogkort/originalbeskrivning)
