Vävnadsfragment, brun med svagt synlig röd och blå rand. Från en chullpagrav.

Enl. fröken Eva Selander, Röhsska Museet, Göteborg.

Fragment of woolen warp rep, ligth brown with a border in blue, red and dark brown on the selvage-side. Texture rather even, in the border a little closer.

Warp, firmly S-twined.

Weft, more loosely S-twined.

Tightness of weave:

Warp, abt. 200 threads in 10 cm.

Weft, " 50 " in 10 cm.

size 24 x 12 cm.

Selvage mon one side preserved. (katalogkort/originalbeskrivning)
