Object description: Ring-base. Ovoid body. High, wide, concave neck. Horizontal mouth. Ridge encircling upper neck. Round horizontal handles on shoulder. Black band and black line encircling inside neck. Five groups of black, transverse strokes on rim. Side of rim and ridge painted black. Black winged concentric lozenges, with black chequers inside, on either side of mid-neck, framed by lotus-ornament in red and black. Black, filled triangles, black panels and black, vertical zigzag line on either side of central ornament. Black band encircling neck-base.. Triangular, black chequers, framed by black, diagonal panels and two black, filled triangles on either side of shoulder. Lotus ornament in red and black on either side of shoulder, above handles. Wavy line in black encircling lower shoulder. Nine black lines, framed by bands, encircling mid-body. Two black bands encircling lower body. Handles painted black. Light buff clay. Matt buff slip. Matt brownish red and greyish black paint.
