- Object description
- Mouldmade lamp; circular body with a short rounded nozzle; the wick-hole is very large. A pierced handle with two impressed grooves as decoration on its edge, is placed at the rear. The edge of the handle continues down to the base ring, as a spine. The flat shoulder with five rows of moulded dot decoration, is separated from the discus by a raised rim which is sloping inwards. Concave, undecorated discus with larger filling-hole. Brownish-red clay and slip.
