lamp

- Object description
- Mouldmade lamp with two antithetically placed nozzles. Round body with convex profile. The sloping shoulder is separated from the concave discus by a rim which is defined by a single, deep groove. There is a beginning to a protruding structure, perhaps a suspension device in the middle of discus, which is lost. It is flanked by two openings, filling- and air-holes. Voluted nozzle with a slightly pitched, rounded tip. Slightly raised base, determined by a groove. Planta pedis on base, with illegible marks. Buff clay, covered with finger-marked, orange-red slip.
