Object description: cast. Complete bit. Jointed mouthpiece with open ended central loops and plain, circular rein-rings at end of canons. Bar cheekpieces slope downward, rounded point rises above central hole, and one small round bridle cheekstrap loop on either side of centerhole. Similar to MMLur 129 but smaller loops for bridle straps.

Description: Ture Arne Johnson, born May 7, 1879 in Söderköping, died 2 August 1965, Swedish archaeologist.
PhD in Uppsala in 1914 with the thesis "La Suède et l'Orient, études sur les relations archéologiques de la Suède et de l'Orient pendant l'Age des Vikings". Arne's field of work was mainly the contacts between Scandinavia and the early Russia.

Several analyses were made, 160a, 160b, 160c, 160d. No notation of where samples were taken. OBS:Fyra poster har samma nummer (SHM 20563 MMLUR 130) men avser samma föremål, därför har A, B, C och D lagts till efter numren. De fyra posterna innehåller olika analysresultat.
