Object description: Cast. Complete bit. Jointed mouthpiece like MMLur129 and 130, perhaps more slender. Slightly sloping cheekpieces have animal head terminals, with bridle cheekstrap loops rising above eyes like horns. Central hole for mouthpiece is only a slighter widening of bars. Rein-rings oval in shape.

Description: Ture Arne Johnson, born May 7, 1879 in Söderköping, died 2 August 1965, Swedish archaeologist.
PhD in Uppsala in 1914 with the thesis "La Suède et l'Orient, études sur les relations archéologiques de la Suède et de l'Orient pendant l'Age des Vikings". Arne's field of work was mainly the contacts between Scandinavia and the early Russia.

Several analyses were made, 161a, 161b, 161c, 161d. No notation of where samples were taken. OBS:Fyra poster har samma nummer (SHM 20563 MMLUR 131) men avser samma föremål, därför har A, B, C och D lagts till efter numren. De fyra posterna innehåller olika analysresultat.
