Dark green on medium green surface. Intact.

Conservation - Executed

Cleaning and conservation report. D-nr 16455013, 950108. General condition and corrosion. Object is dirty with dust, hard calcareous deposits from soil. Object is slightly deformed, cracked. Corrosion is stable, uneven, dark to medium dark green, hard. Surface corrosion is chipping off in places due to the mechanical deformation of the sieve, revealing dark brown Copper O layer. There are large fatty spots of the inside surface. Conservation treatment: Object is cleaned mechanically with scalpel, small soft rotating bristle and steel brushes, under the magnification. Fatty spots are removed with cotton swabs soaked in acetone. Consolidate coating of 10% Paraloid B 72 in ethanol is applied on objects surface.
