Enligt katalogkort: “Chinese lacquer bowl stand. Period: Early Ming. Description: Globular bowl-holder, flower-shaped dish and spreading foot. Wood, covered with thick layers of brownish-black lacquer. Inlaid with mother-of-pearl in Lo-tien technique. Around bowl three archaic dragons; on the dish ‘The Three Friends’ (=prunus+pine at a rock); phoenix birds underneath; rocks on the foot. Measures: H. 88mm D. 188mm. Purchased: Bequest of H.M.
