Ask med lock av lackerat trä, från Kina.

Enligt katalogkort: “Chinese lacquer tray. Period: Ming, 17th century. Description: Square, with rounded sides and turned-in corners. Wood, covered with brownish-black lacquer, inlaid with mother-of-pearl in Lo-tien technique, depicting a palace scene with two pavillions, trees and people. Inscription on base: Measures: W 411mm x 411mm. H 40mm.

Purchased: Bequest of H.M. King Gustaf VI Adolf. No 2567”.

Enligt HM-kort: Fyrkantig ask med lock och inskurna hörn. Dekorerad med landskap i guld på locket.

Material: Trä med kortflätning och lackring i svart, rött. brunt och guld.

Närmare tidsbestämning: Ming.
