Object description

Fragment of small globular bowl, slightly flared, pinched rim, shallow slightly splayed wedge-shaped foot. Turquoise glaze, black UGP, glaze dried or thinly applied exterior. Decoration: Simple floral motif in tondo, parallel concentric circles edge of tondo zone, upper wall filled with irregular parallel stripes to band at rim; exterior single stripes 4 to 5 cm apart. Friable yellowish stonepaste fabric, grog (?) and very fine grey/black grits.

Ware: Clear glaze black cob UGP.
