Object description

Fragment of conical carinated bowl with inverted and pinched rim and high vertical foot, square profile, angled outwards. Thin slip to foot, glaze extends somewhat further, thicker white slip and incision in interior zones. Decoration: Rough concentric circles in tondo on thick white slip (producing a paler yellow), incised line around tondo, triangles of pale yellow (slip) descending from rim with incised stylised vegetal motifs. Friable dark red earthenware fabric, very sandy.

Ware: Pb glaze, inc and sp dec.
